The Texas roadsides are awash in color. The wildflowers are in bloom. Texas Bluebonnets, the state flower. So, pictures of flowers, eh? That means I'm not working much. Budget boater worked on glassing the port forward and aft decks. Ben kept chugging away on the forward cabin. He has been experimenting with faring the surface so the paint will look better. We should have started on this cabin instead of his cabin, as this will not be used as a cabin much and we can experiment here before we get to the center cabins. Ben has been perfecting his skills in the application of epoxy and fillets. His skills are growing daily and his work ethic puts me to shame. I have reached a frustration point. It's really rewarding to see visual progress. I am not making much it seems. Lately everything I do has been too much cerebral work and not enough real work. Make a small piece to glue here, shape something to go there, glue and wait. Fit and finish, all details, no visual progress. I seem to have become the small but important (I hope) project guy. I'll be the one building the hatches (8) and furniture details. I just gotta get this little stuff finished! Nobody's complaining yet............................
