Today was filleting day. That's not fill-lay (like what you do to a fish); it's fill-itt (like what you do to a crack: fill it). This involves alchemy with strange ingredaments and stuff, like colloidal silica and microballoons (I was looking for the teeny strings to hold so they wouldn't float away, but I couldn't see any). You stir this stuff into the epoxy to give it hardness and strength. Budgetboater was a mite rusty and we are still disorganized, but it's coming together. Ben and Budg did well. I babysat (Crap!). Basically, you mix a batch, put it into a plastic food bag, cut the corner off the bag, pipe it into a corner, and smooth it out with a rounded piece of wood The one thing you shouldn't mention on a boat building site is "sink". We got one in this weekend for the galley. Tomorrow is rock and roll day. Budge is getting in 10-15 tons of rock tomorrow and we are going to roll it into the shop with a wheelbarrow to get the floor level. Then we will be able to get the plywood into racks and have more working space. Something Rock and Rolly............................... The Blasters!!!!!!!!! American Music
