So we're flipping through the pieces of plywood trying to find a piece for the galley shelf and come upon a spider that looked pretty nondescript to me. Ben captured it for a photo session and the nearest we can figure, it's a Brown Recluse. I am no longer going to dig through that flippin' plywood! Come to think of it, I'm checking under my bed. The black widow captured earlier. That does it! I'm sleeping with a knife in my fist in case one runs across me in the middle of the night. Hmmmmmm,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, So we were off on separate tangents this week. Budgetboater worked on the fore deck and realized we had the bulkhead off by an inch. He worked on that by cutting it out, moving it back and straightening it out. He also started to repair the hole in the hull that happened when the hull blew over in a Texas windstorm. The hull landed on a jackstand that punched a neat rectangular hole in it. Some joints popped also and we have been reglueing them as we go along. They had not been filleted yet. Me??? What have I been doing???? I've been stuck in the muddle of analysis paralysis. I've been working (or not) on the galley. This is an area that is important to me because it will be the hub of the boat. I want what I call the fit and finish to be right. I have been self boggleing on all aspects of this area. It's gotta be pretty. I've been wrestling with the many areas and the cabinet storage area. I have changed and rechanged my mind about this. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy. The fallen leaves that jewel the ground, they know the art of dying.....
