So, the day before We left Tlaloc (the rain god) was angry (that's him over there) and it rained hard and horizontally. Everything was wet! It even got into the hulls. We didn't have time to dry it out. The paint will hold. One day's drive to Memphis, one day's drive to Ohio. It's been help-out-around-the-house time. We cut down the front hedge, fixed the string trimmer, mowed, lifted that barge, toted that bale, I have an old Mirror dinghy (a dingy dinghy) that I sailed until it started to leak. I put it up thinking to repair it. Strorage is death! I dragged it out to evaluate it. Rot and more rot. The sides are good. The bottom needs help. I attacked it with a screwdriver. Front and rear transoms are not good. The bottom is soft. You can see where the screwdriver went through the boat Budgetboater says that it's a lot harder to repair a boat than it is to build it new. I can see that now. This boat was built in 1977 with polyester resins. I have a sheet of plywood ordered. ...........Crap! I'll see some music this week.
