Meanwhile, I've been working on tilt out storage under the center cabin ladders. I made 6 of these.
I don't know where the time is going, but we gotta find it. We lost a day with another truck adventure (battery and re-replaced the starter (under warranty). Ben has been working on painting the aft cabins. I hear colorful linguistics emanating from the bowels of the boat. I don't dare go over there (there be dragons). It's very cramped and his rolling arm gave out and aches. He's popping Ibuprofen. Budgetboater twiddled with the CNC computer and got it running. He cut out the pieces for the port center cabin. That took about 10 minutes. If anyone's interested, he can sell you a pre cut out Tiki 38 boat, as long as you purchased a set of plans from James Wharram and have the licence to build one. Don't even ask unless you bought the plans, Note the cut outs for my Beckson ports. Meanwhile, I've been working on tilt out storage under the center cabin ladders. I made 6 of these. That galley table is nothing but adjustments. I built table support legs that pivot and can knock apart. And mounted them to the table. I had to do the limbo and crawl under and trim the length of the legs (too short on one side- had to glue a piece back on- don't look). And that was my week. I also discovered that there isn't enough clearance to slide into the seating area with the table down. Do we really need that partial bulkhead that supports the center beam???? I'll either trim the table top down or go on a diet. OK, I'll trim the table.........................
