Bogged, Boggled, Bagged, Boxed (Bewitched, Bothered And Bewildered)......And Bedraggled!

And a coupla thankyas to Hazel, Whose comment I missed about pivoting finger joints, and Gary, who has donated in two of the three ways you can donate to this site. He addresses his cat as "Dog" as in "'Wassup, Dog". The rewards are great. He wants a T-shirt.

Is the tattoo fad over? I can't tell, as everyone's still got 'em.

So onward. OK, I was dragging along. I had to do something about all that crap I showed you last week (see: last week crap). This is not my forte. I pick up something and mill about finally set it down. I was bogged down. I needed to get some nonchaotic organization and was boggled of mind and spirit. I needed to put like items together. Bagging stuff in plastic bags traps moisture. What to do. crap needs to breathe, like fine wine. Is fine wine and crap the same? They end up that way.
I mounted the jib sheet tracks to control the jib sail, also called the stay sail (???) so they would be controlled. The cars slide anywhere on the track you need them. I sure get tired of the epoxy hole two-step. It's another thing done.

Numerous excursions to Wallyworld produced a sundry lot of snap top boxes. I separated the crap into like items and fit them into these boxes to be stowed. If you remember the great paint spillage of April '18, you will see the benefit of putting things in boxes to capture spillage and spoilage and end such future adventures.

The screws came in! You know, the one I needed last week and it was cheaper to buy 50 than one and I found the spares and I no longer need them. YAY!
C'mon, everybody: Yaaaaaay!

I put the rest of the screws in the cockpit panel.

I spent a lot of time here, the starboard aft cabin, AKA: the crap storage area. I took stuff out of boxes to minimize the footprint and maximize the space utilization. I pushed stuff around. I pulled stuff around. I found space for most of the spare metal scraps. I stuffed the furler foils in a space. I reorganizes and re-reorganized the epoxy supplies into two of the orange top bins. I poured epoxy into smaller containers and shuffled stuff in and out of boxes as necessary. I'm a regular stuff shuffler. All in all, it got better. I took many breaks as the seemingly insurmountable threatened  my sanity and agitated my frustration. I'm feeling better about it now.
So I discovered that if I'm standing in the cabin hatch, I cannot squeeze anything past me (I gotta lose weight- still wouldn't work). In order to gently lower something in I had to hold it in one hand with my face smashed against the deck. This was not easy. I had an idea: make some long handles to grab stuff and put it in the cabin. Some scrap wood, some paint, some boat hook holders from the orange big box store and I had it! Only, I didn't have it. The J hooks were too flimsy and springy and bent under heavy loads. I am currently searching for more substantial J-hooks.
