Naw, not yet. Vacation is a period of time where you work up the courage and desire to go back. Yeah, I know, "It's your dream!" (whatever that is). In Ohio we did a lot of stuff. Ben was a slug for the better part of it. It's something he needed to do. I worked and took a lot of breaks. We accomplished a lot of stuff. I ate blackberries from the bushes in the back yard. I read books. The apartment is back in shape and ready to rent again. Ben did the truck brakes and sway bar bushings. I replaced the rear window gasket on the truck. I did plumbing: water softener, hard water line to kitchen sink, new apartment kitchen sink, de-gunk apartment water heater (removed, dragged out, vacuumed out, reinstalled with new tray). Ben painted. Much more stuff. We spent a lot of money, mostly on parts and stuff.

Boat, water softener, same thing, right? My one bit of creativity was to refurbish a cast iron chair that Sam pulled from someone' trash with new slats. It was a wider bench, but I made it into a chair. I already have a bench. Working on the boat doesn't provide much creative possibilities. Right now, it's mostly slogging through everything we need to do to finish it. Building a boat is merely the second step of a three step process: dream, build, sail. If you don't want to do all three, don't start. As the saying goes "You can have it fast, cheap, or good......pick two!"
I suppose I should say something about the boat...........................hey, I just did! That takes care of that. So, we will go back soon. I hear that Texas is lovely this time of year (105° heat index).
Or in Texas!
