Another Christmas Shot

So a happy whatever to yawl, as the say in Tejas. The Covid rid process is starting and anything has got to be better than last year. We gots a new president coming in and we have new hopes. My wish is that everyone will lighten up and enjoy the new year.

I quit making excuses for going nowhere. It is what it is. The pandemic put the kiibosh on most sailing plans.

Spike, beloved cactus and longest relationship I've ever had, caught the cactus Covid and was close to death. The source of the contagion is unclear but cats utilizing the planter as a litter box are suspect. After many surgeries by my Ex, two small remnants  remain to grow anew. I know that your thoughts and prayers go out to Spike. Please do not refer to him as "Groot"

​The prevailing attitude toward the human pandemic is that I don't believe in it until I die from it. Let Spike be a lesson to you: W̶e̶a̶r̶ ̶a̶ ̶m̶a̶s̶k̶   don't pee in the planter.
