So, even though you don't know why, hang in there.
Who are you out there, the ones who remain sorting through the detritus of my a dwindling presentation of boat life? I'm just phoning it in. I work at finishing the boat and getting the sails up. I guess you stick around to see me sail into the sunset. Which way is that? The world is currently shut down and I could always blame the pandemic. There is always something. I have volunteers that can or would go with me. They don't understand that I don't want them. Even I don't understand why I don't want them. Ben would know, I guess. My journeys are best as I make them. I'll take Cat. He probably doesn't want to go. He is one good ol' cat and has more intelligence than I.
Cat in the jungles of Ohio.
I was dragging rope around the dock measuring out the correct lengths. I then had to figure out the correct configuration of the blocks to make the sheets. The aft sail has one sheet. The fore sail has two. The jib just gets a couple lines. I also had to cut a length for the traveler.
The finally finished and installed canvas for the cockpit.
So, even though you don't know why, hang in there.
We lost Bill this month. Ain't no sunshine when he's gone......... Thanks for the music.
