Cat The Cat

Ol' Cat The Cat is a good one. He is a teenage cat that lives with me. He is a hefty chunk of a cat, a bit over 9 lbs (4.17 monograms in metric). He plays rough (you should see the scratches on my arms) and has endeared himself to marina residents. He has become a marina Robin Hood and the scourge of dock fisherman, demanding tribute of the spoils of their labor. He will grab a fish (or live bait), carry it off and eat it. I let him loose during the day and can usually find him wherever there is a knot of people. If he runs away from me, I let him be. Eventually someone from the marina will show up at my boat with Cat in their arms. He has a mellow personality and has no enemies. 

Me? I'm fine.  I am resisting the urge to prattle on about the nature of the universe, the meaning of life and the continuing saga of the colorful characters that inhabit a reasonably priced marina. You don't need an accurate description of my inactivity.

Thanks for the comments from Nick. And Gary from the boat yard  says "Stop and visit". I'm afraid that they'll charge me for it, so I stay away. It's a working boat yard and I would just be in the way of their work. I use the phrase "We must have tea sometimes", meaning "I have good intentions but it will never happen".
