Working on this boat this week! We didn't leave until Tuesday afternoon. We glued up a thing then another thing. The tillers will be ready to assemble when we return. We used the American Tie-it-in-a-knot and drive approach. That truck is a horrible road trip vehicle. We drove straight through, leaving at 2PM and arriving at 10AM. It sucked. Maybe we'll take two days coming back............
I think I acquired this shirt during the Pleistocene era. I cannot remember not having it. It is my official boat work shirt. You probably have seen it in every photo of me. Budge and I once went into a lengthy discussion of painting the boat in this blue plaid.............a moment of insanity.
I ironed on some denim patches to hold it together. There was not much left. I'll burn it when the boat is finished. It's amazing what you get attached to.
