So after three days of enhanced inactivity caused by inflamed laziness coupled with general ennui and malaize, I was spurred to abandon my sedentary life style by the great apartment toilet clog. I was deeply entrenched in the bowels (heh, heh) of the bowl. Being not inclined to utilize the drop-a-large-firecracker-and-run technique, I ended up taking the whole thing out, back flushing, and reinstalling it. Something fell into it. I only needed one trip to the hardware store. It's so rare to have a one-tripper project. Mine are normally three-trippers. We all know why plumbers charge so much and why we are oh so willing to pay it. It's good as new. I took two showers.............
The laziness is paying off. My twisted knee, having the opportunity to heal and not be aggravated, is better.
And thanks to Ken, ATW, for his holiday wishes comment. He is delusinally thinking that we will launch this coming year. Ya know? He might be right. Maybe I'm becoming delusional, too. Begone Optimism! It will only lead to dashed dreams. It will be done when Thy will be done and I will be done.

A not-so-pretty homemade pumpkin pie. It will taste fine. So that's it for this week. May the ghosts of Christmas repast, Christmas presents, and Christmas fewer not be negated by the ghost of Christmas shopping and many happy returns.
