This blog is good enough for the situation. Good enough for my friends(???????) to see what I'm up to. Good enough to chronicle the weekly progress. Good enough to provide a website where folks don't slide down the slippery slope into the realm of third grade level name calling. Good enough for my two semi-faithful followers to pee away a few moments of their week on vicarious living. Good enough to force discipline upon me to write each week, whether I want to or not.  I hope my writing is good enough.
So the good enough shade canopy was not good enough to withstand an unforeseen impromptu middle - of- the- night thunderstorm. Like Scarlett O'Hara, it was gone with the wind. We're getting used to this heartbreak. Bits of sogginess hampered the flow of work and added a mite of humidity to the 97° we enjoyed. Ever indomitable, Budge got some more conduit pieces, repaired it and we vowed to take the tarps off nightly, religiously, and faithfully. Where would I be without Budge?

'Tis the time to make the boat good enough to go sailing. Many little things to do, like fixing a couple fillets.
The stem posts consumed a goodly part of my week. I epoxied, filled in the gaps, sanded a lot, painted primer and one coat of white paint. Budge helped and ran fillets along the bases. I spent a lot of time to make it good enough.

Fire ants are the most aggressive cantankerous critters. Do not stand on their turf. They flat out hate you.

Budge cut the pod top notch.

The aft mast sits in the pod notch.
That area required cleats and a piece of plywood to fill the hole. We had to glue cleats to the sides, necessitating one more time the use of my made in haste months ago reverse clothespin clamps. I'll not bother your pretty little heads on the details. The cockpit is evolving. We keep having to add another thing. Looking good enough!

Like this to support the motor control contraption. Oh man, do I need another flyover by the drone?

I Think this is something to do with the running rigging. I get confused with all that stuff. The essence of my existence in one photo.

That curved thingy gets attached to the hatch, naturally, to support the opened hatch. I'm good. That's enough.
