I sit in the comfort of my home contemplating the confluence of two major days in our culture: Groundhog day and Superbowl Sunday. I dare not contemplate what could happen if it's sunny. Six more weeks of football?
I read something somewhere that struck a chord in my soul: technology has surpassed evolution! The ramifications are obvious. I can only partially understand a Microsoft operating system or my smart phone. Social media seems to encourage and enhance stupidity. Now we work on artificial intelligence, self driving cars that probably will be better than 50% of the drivers I encounter. I fear that I won't make the cut.
