Purging, Splurging, Surging, From The Fog Emerging And The Dearth Of Content

And a big huge technical reply to Sergey's last post's question. I had to dig into the plans to get this. Mast height; 9.93 meters  Mast diameter 140 millimeters (mine are 6 inches- it's what we could find (that's 9 decimators in metric). Mast rake fore mast: 9 degrees, aft mast: 7.9 degrees. To the rest of you, ignore that.

The weather, oh man, the weather. It was foggy almost every morning this week. It made things difficult as moisture does not evaporate easily under the boat. I had wet feet.

I now attack the clutter. I have to get rid of stuff or stow it, It's the decision part that's difficult. I have to find a spot to stow it or spot a place to get rid of it. I must purge the clutter, an arduous task for someone who hates throwing things away. My solution: give it away to someone that can use it. I feel better and the person receiving it is happy for the gift.

My olde computer was so old that I had to place an "e" on the end of old. I decided to buy a new laptop computer. The olde one will become the navigation station situation. I splurged on a brand new (refurbished) laptop with a warranty.

I worked short days and I anticipate the surge to the end. I need a weather window of about 4 days to complete the bottom paint. I have to clean up the surface of the current paint to prepare for the new paint ("salt environment" said the taciturn great grand guru, Robbie).

I tightened the bolts of the starboard valve cover. I guess we're not going back in as the governor is hunky dory.

The port engine, also in the hunk of dory category received the same treatment: the bolt tightening procedure. Hey, I got no pictures this week so I'm milking the content for all it's worth. Grant 'n Adam were supposed to change the impellers this week. Am I going to become the expert on that next?

The motor holder drains kept clogging up, so I drilled the holes bigger. I took few pictures this week. Grant'nAdam were busy, They are always together, so I call Grant "Adam's Rib". I cleaned up under the boat, These are not epic endeavors. These are stuffs that gots to be done. I would confront an item that needed to be confronted. I would pick it up and carry it around not knowing what to do with it. I would put it back down and walk away. I would say "Dammit", turn around and pick it up with renewed purpose and walk to the office and give that nice 4' long piece of pvc pipe to the yard dawgs. They said they could use it. I felt good. By the way, the yard dawgs have a new dawgette in the yard, upping the gender equality index to 2. Dawgettes keep the dawgs in perspective and balance the universe.

So I epoxy coated the holes. I tried to paint but the the holes were too wet for the paint to stick.

I moved the Evenrude from under the boat to on top the deck. 43 pounds one handed up the swim ladder. That's 19½ kilowhatevers in metric. I do not know what I need. I know jack schidt about anything. Oh yeah, the dream: what do you get when you fulfill your dream? Another friggin' dream!! It's the pursuit of happiness, not the happiness. Maybe the pursuit of happiness is happiness. Whoah, dat deep! Cogitate on that until next week, my two faithful followers.
